What It Is
An internal audit is only as good as what the auditor got to look at. Sampling is built into the method: a limited number of records is selected, those are examined, and the finding set is drawn from them. It is an honest way to work with limited time on board, and it means the gaps sit in the material that was never opened. Nautilux changes what happens to the paperwork. Every certificate, record, checklist, log entry and photograph uploaded for the vessel is reviewed, in full.
Findings come back evidenced against the specific document, mapped to the ISM, ISPS or MLC requirement they touch, with a corrective action and a closure trail. This is internal audit support for the company's own ISM, ISPS and MLC programme. It supports your DPA, your CSO and your internal audit schedule. It is not an external, statutory or certification audit, and it does not produce a Document of Compliance or a Safety Management Certificate. Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.

Full review, not a sample
The difference is coverage of the record, not coverage of the ship, and the distinction matters when someone challenges the report. Coverage is 100% of what you upload, in full, with nothing set aside as a sample. Coverage is not 100% of the vessel. Nautilux does not attend on board, does not witness a drill and does not replace physical audit attendance where the SMS or your flag requires it. Used together, the two do what neither does alone: the attendance covers what has to be seen, and Nautilux covers everything in the record.
