Owner's Representation

Your representative at the yard, on the project or during the campaign: a former American Bureau of Shipping Corporate Vice President and former flag state Deputy Commissioner, acting in your name, on a day rate, reporting only to you. Engagements are led by our founder, and every report names the reviewer who wrote it. Not a junior from a bench.

  • Attendance at load outs, mobilizations, trials, dockings and deliveries in the owner's interest
  • A written report after every attendance: status, risk, actions outstanding and photographs
  • Short notice representation when your own superintendents cannot be there

Representation is personal and calendar bound. We take on what one principal can attend properly and decline the rest, and we say so before quoting rather than mid project; where a scope needs more attendance than that, it is covered by named individuals, disclosed before work begins. We represent your interest and report to you: we do not accept the vessel, approve variations or bind you to a yard or contractor unless you delegate that authority to us in writing. Day rates are quoted per engagement. Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement.

Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.
