Impartiality & Independence Policy
Why our findings are objective, evidence-based and free from undue influence.
Effective June 2026
Independence is fundamental to the value we provide. When SolarisTech conducts inspections, audits, surveys or assessments, our findings must be objective, evidence-based and free from undue influence, so that owners, administrations, classification societies, insurers and lenders can rely on them.
We commit to
- Basing every finding on objective evidence and the applicable requirements, never on commercial convenience.
- Identifying, disclosing and managing any actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest before accepting work.
- Refusing to let commercial, financial or other pressures compromise the integrity of our work.
- Protecting our personnel from any pressure to alter findings.
- Declining or withdrawing from engagements where impartiality cannot be assured.
Impartiality is monitored by senior management and is a condition of employment and engagement for everyone who works with us.
