Terms of Use

The terms that govern your use of this website.

VERSION 2.0. EFFECTIVE 4 AUGUST 2026. NEXT REVIEW 4 AUGUST 2027.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the SolarisTech Inc. website and its subdomains. By accessing or using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms do not govern the services SolarisTech provides. Services are governed by a signed engagement contract between SolarisTech and the client named in it.

Using this website

  • You may use this website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
  • You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, probe or scan it, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account or data.
  • You agree not to scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the content, or use it to train a machine learning model, without our prior written permission.
  • We may modify, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time without notice.

No professional advice, and no engagement

Everything on this website is general information about SolarisTech and what we do. It is not advice, and it is not a deliverable.

  • Nothing on this website is a survey, inspection, audit, assessment, verification, certification, approval or expert opinion, and nothing on it should be read or relied on as one.
  • Nothing on this website constitutes legal, regulatory, technical, insurance or financial advice, or advice on any specific vessel, transaction, flag, class society or jurisdiction.
  • Using this website, downloading material from it, or contacting us through it does not create a client, advisory, agency or fiduciary relationship with SolarisTech, and does not oblige us to accept an engagement.
  • Our inspection, audit and survey work is non-statutory. It informs decisions taken by owners, administrations, classification societies, insurers and lenders. It does not carry those decisions and does not replace statutory survey or certification.
  • Maritime regulation changes over time and varies by flag, class and jurisdiction. Content here is written as at its date and is not maintained as a regulatory reference. For your specific situation, contact us directly.

Who may rely on a SolarisTech report

SolarisTech issues reports, findings and opinions under a signed engagement contract. Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement. That agreement is a normal part of how we work, not an obstacle. Lenders, lessors, buyers, charterers, underwriters, law firms and administrations regularly need to rely on a report prepared for someone else, and we extend reliance on request where the instructing party consents and the purpose is one the report can actually support.

The written agreement records who may rely, for what purpose, and on what terms. Ask before you rely, not after. A report is read as a whole, as at its date, against the scope, method and limitations stated on its face. Extracts, summaries and quotations taken out of a report are not a SolarisTech opinion.

Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, text, graphics, images and other content on this website are the property of SolarisTech Inc. or of their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. Nautilux AI and SwiftAction are marks of SolarisTech Inc. You may view the website and print or save individual pages for your own reference. Any other copying, reproduction, republication, distribution, framing or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

Third-party links

This website contains links to third-party sites, provided for convenience. We do not control them, we do not endorse them by linking to them, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current or error-free, and the website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolarisTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, contract, opportunity, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with this website or its content, whether the claim is framed in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised that such loss was possible. No fee is charged for use of this website.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with this website and its content, on any basis, will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability for SolarisTech services is not dealt with here. It is governed by the signed engagement contract for those services, which contains its own limitation of liability.

Nothing on this website varies, waives or adds to the terms of any engagement contract, and if there is a conflict, the engagement contract prevails.

Governing law and jurisdiction
